Giannis (Ioannis) Kalogeropoulos

I am a second-year Ph.D. student enrolled jointly at the Archimedes Research Unit and the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), advised by Prof. Yannis Panagakis. Previously, I completed my Diploma M.Eng Degree at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, where for my diploma thesis I was advised by Prof. Alexandros Potamianos. I also have professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer as well as a Software Developer.

My research interests lie in the fields of Geometric Deep Learning, Metanetworks and Equivariance. Currently, I am working on studying the symmetries of various neural network architectures and on designing equivariant metanetworks with respect to those symmetries.

News:
  • Sep 2024 Our paper Scale Equivariant Graph Metanetworks has been accepted at NeurIPS 2024 for oral presentation!
  • Jul 2024 I will be participating at LOGML Summer School 2024 in London.
  • Sep 2023 I am starting a PhD at Archimedes Research Unit and NKUA advised by Yannis Panagakis.
